This solution does not produce smoke because, unlike conventional brass polishing solutions that use nitric acid (a type of acid that produces harmful fumes dangerous to the respiratory system), this chemical does not contain nitric acid. Therefore, it is smoke-free. The gloss of the finished piece remains durable under normal atmospheric conditions.

It can be stored for a long time without needing chromic acid or sodium cyanide solutions as a helper. After dipping, the piece can proceed to other plating processes without needing additional cleaning.

This solution works with all types of brass, including high-zinc alloys and those containing lead. It can be used in both dipping and rolling tanks. After dipping, there is no need for chromic acid or sodium cyanide treatments as with nitric acid polishing, and this solution does not harm the environment once degraded. It can be safely disposed of through drainage.
